Maybe that's the point, but the maturity difference left Dante a little flat and even difficult to like in some places. It's all about Aristotle becoming a man, but Dante never shows an ounce of manhood. Touching in some places, roll-your-eyes in others, and ultimately left me feeling a lot of love for Ari and even love for myself while still wishing for a more fleshed-out plot between these two. I just feel that there was no reason to be so big and try to encompass more things than the original scope.
